We're Filipinos and this is our favourite Indian Restaurant so far! Food is fantastic and service is friendly! Our go-to orders are: Chicken Biryani, Goat Biryani, and Chicken Tikka Masala. I am not a huge spicy eater so it helps that they can adjust the heat level to your liking. Food is cooked fresh and really delicious! We love the masala tea too especially on cold days. They also give rewards to frequent customers like today, we got 3 off our orders! Restaurant is spacious and waiters are prompt. Eat, explore - repeat!

I didn’t have a good picture of lamb chops but they are the best i had in US. Food, ambiance and hospitality all excellent. been here twice never in 2 weeks.... Best place to have Indian food in this area...

Dining here was a culinary adventure like no other unfolded at the brand-new Moghul Express in Parsippany. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance struck a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. The decor combines classic framed photos with contemporary wall art, creating an inviting and vibrant atmosphere. It was an exciting foreshadowing of the remarkable fusion cuisine that awaited us. The menu was a treasure trove of flavors. We started our meal with the exquisite paneer bhaati tikka, a delightful twist on traditional Indian paneer. The harmony of spices and the succulent texture left us craving for more. The veg hakka noodles had the perfect blend of spice and crunch, making them a real crowd-pleaser. As we moved on to the main course, the chaana masala was the epitome of comfort food, while the black pepper shrimp offered a zesty kick that we relished. Pairing these with the aromatic garlic naan was an unforgettable experience. And let's not forget dessert – the famous tres leches ras malai was a sweet masterpiece. The creamy, indulgent layers, coupled with the richness of traditional ras malai, was an absolute delight. Update - Szechuan noodles were just as good! However the hakka chili paneer couldn't figure out how it wanted to taste and the rava masala dosa was a miss on texture. The dosa chutney and similar accompanyments we were fine. Starting from Bhel to end with Rose Kheer, every dish has stole my heart. Service was amazing by a girl and 3 guys. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with warm welcome. We started off with starters and the waiter was very generous to offer us to tally their bhel and pani puri, which was a worth trying. Pani puri reminded me of India. It is authentic. Every dish in the main course is delicious and unique, credits to chef. My friend expected to have a biryani, over there initially. But later he also full filled his taste buds with varieties available in Non Veg section. If there are few more varieties in dessert section except kheer mohan(which is very disappointing at the end) will be a great add on to the buffet and I am pretty sure many of them will like it especially icecream may be. Overall, the ambience is great, food is amazing and I would rate 9/10 just because of kheer Mohan sweet.. or else it would be 11/10 worth price.

Adding to my review as Google doesn't allow multiple reviews. Recently, I ordered catering from Mogul Express for an event at home. The food and service were both excellent, and multiple guests complimented the menu and the food. It was not a typical menu, and had many chaat items. The person who delivered the food did an excellent job at setting up the items. The ordering process was great as well. Micky was a pleasure to work with. He made the process smooth, patiently answered my questions and accommodated my one-off requests. It was a surprise party, and he also played along with my request to keep the conversations discreet :-), including when the person I was throwing the party for showed up with me to order for another party at our place. Would highly recommend Mogul Express and Micky for your catering needs. We also love the place for dine-ins (the review below) *** Great place for casual Indian meal. We love the indo-Chinese items. Loved everything about this place! The vibe was cozy and relaxed, and the staff made us feel right at home. The food? Incredible—fresh, tasty, and served with care. Portions were big enough to share, and the dessert was amazing too. It’s the kind of spot you want to tell your friends about and come back to again.
